rav-moshe-wolfsonA general shiur was given on Wednesday at the Chabad Yeshiva in North Miami Beach by a visiting maggid shiur.

Rav Moshe Wolfson, mashgiach ruchni of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and rov of Emunas Yisrael Congregation in Brooklyn, spoke for the bochurim.

With the rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, beside him, he engaged in a deep discussion that quoted from Gemara, halacha and known commentaries.

Rav Wolfson then told over a few fascinating personal stories he encountered with the Rebbe during his regular visits to 770 Eastern Parkway.

He then went on to say that “we have a great zechus to live in ikvisa deMeshicha,” referring to the final period before the ultimate redemption.

According to one participant, Rabbi Wolfson said, “We must continue to follow in the Rebbe’s teachings.”

  1. “According to one participant”
Why only according one participant? Did he say
    it or not?
Maybe he spoke and only one person was in the audience.

  2. Rav Wolfson is from an older generation, where there was less separation among Yidden – between frum and not frum, different types of religious. If you are printing such things, regurgitating from Lubavitcher websites, why didn’t you print that he was at their recent 24 Teves event for the 200th yohrzeit of their first Rebbe in Miami Beach? And that he goes and speaks to their Lag Ba’omer parade event in Boro Park?

There are loads and loads of Lubavitcher websites online. There is no need to turn this one into that as well. Please do not turn into a copy of those propaganda websites. You may lose readers if you do so.

  3. Rabbi Moshe Wolfson Shlita has a beautiful bais medrash with probably the most ehrliche davening in possibly the entire world. However on Chabad issues he is somewhat of a daas yochid. C’V no disrespect – just stating the facts.

  4. Lets here a recording of this.

Chabad is very sophisticated with audio, and if he said it, Im sure Lubavitch would not let a good propaganda moment like that go to waste.

Besides, he was talking to them and not me. And maybe he meant take the good things that Lubavitch does and not all theyr teachings.

  5. amazing how much ahavas yisroel a little article can generate .it seems that some like to be mehader in ikvso dmeshicha so they will go to any lengths to extend the chavlei laydo of the geula. chaval vchaval vchaval

  6. To # 9 & 10:

That’s right. Finally, the readership of Matzav is waking up & realizing the truth. Maran Rav Schach said all this years ago. Cut the “Ahavas Yisroel” foolishness! Typical Liberal goodeliguck!
