rabbi-yaakov-stefanskyIt is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rav Yaakov Stefansky zt”l, longtime maggid shiur at the Yeshiva of Philadelphia, who passed away early this morning. The levaya will take place today at 10:45 at the Yeshiva of Philadelphia, located at 6063 Drexel Rd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At 12:30, the levaya will leave to Lakewood, NJ. Rav Stefansky, who served as a R”M in the Philadelphia Yeshiva for over four decades, was known for his trademark smile, warmth, and genuine simchas hachaim, which complemented his yedios haTorah and bikush ha’emes. He was a truly special human being, and his passing leaves hundreds of talmidim bereft.
