Rav Yeruchum Zeilberger to Become Rosh Yeshiva in Stamford


Rav-yeruchum-zeilbergerRav Yeruchum Zeilberger, currently a rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, is slated to become rosh yeshiva at Yeshivas Bais Binyomin of Stamford, Connecticut, filling the position of his venerable father-in-law, Rav Simcha Schustal zt”l, who was niftar over three months ago.

Rav Zeilberger is a son of Rav Binyomin Zeilberger zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud.

Rav Yeruchum, who was formerly a maggid shiur in Stamford before he joined Bais Hatalmud in his present role, will servE alongside the longtime senior rosh yeshiva of Stamford, Rav Meir Hershkowitz.

All of Rav Simcha Schustal’s sons are presently roshei yeshiva in other yeshivos. Rav Shlomo Feivel Schustal is rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah Torah Temimah and rov of Bais Medrash Avreichim of Flatbush; Rav Dovid Schustal is rosh yeshiva of Bais Medrash Govoha of Lakewood; and Rav Tovia Schustal is a rosh yeshiva at Yeshivat Ateret Torah in Brooklyn.

Rav Simcha’s other sons-in-law are Rav Yerachmiel Ungarischer, who is rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Nachlas Yisroel of Lakewood; Rav Binyomin Zev Halpern, who is rov of Khal Bais Halevi of Lakewood; and Rav Michoel Bender, who is a R”M at Yeshiva Bais Binyomin of Stamford.
