Rav Yitzchok Sheiner, Rosh Hayeshiva of Yeshivas Kamenitz in Yerushalayim and a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah in Eretz Yisroel, is in the United States for a multi-week visit and will be spending Shabbosin the Flatbush community.
Rav Scheiner will be hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Avi Schron. He will daven Minchah and Kabbolas Shabbos tonight at 5:10 p.m. at the Schron home. An oneg Shabbos at his host will take place tonight at 8:30 p.m.
Rav Scheiner will address the Avos Ubonim Program at Bais Medrash Avreichim, under the leadership of Rav Shlomo Feivel Schustal and located at 1114 Avenue O, tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m.
Rav Scheiner has been visiting numerous yeshivos and kehillos. The Rosh Yeshiva will spend a number of weeks giving shiurim and divrei chizuk in many mekomos haTorah. As one of the few remaining links to the bygone world of pre-war Europe, Rav Scheiner serves as a beacon of light and inspiration to the entire Olam HaTorah.
Last week, Rav Scheiner attended a kabbolas ponim at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas. On Wednesday, he visited Mesivta Bais Yisroel. On Thursday, he visited Yeshiva Ateret Torah, and he also addressed an asifa for menahalos of girls schools in Brooklyn.
This morning, Rav Scheiner spoke at an azkarah held in memory of Rav Nesanel Quinn zt”l at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and was slated to visit Yeshiva Ohr Shraga Veretzky.
This Monday, Rav Scheiner will visit Yeshiva Toras Emes Kaminetz. On Tuesday, he is scheduled to visit the Mirrer Yeshiva.
