It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Yosef Solomon, brother of Lakewood Mashgiach Rav Mattisyahu Solomon.
The levaya will be held tomorrow in Manchester. The kevura will take place in the Gateshead bais hachayim.

He wasn’t a Rav,but an ehrlicher yid top notch,always with a smile on his face.For many years he served as secretary of the Gateshead Boarding School together with running the towns kosher milk supply.His advertising slogan was “from cow to cornflakes – two hours”……Quite a few years ago upon retirement,and poor health he relocated to Manchester,where he lived out the rest of his life…..BDH.
