It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mr. Julius J. (Yoel) Klugman z”l, a senior respected member of the Washington Heights community of Khal Adas Yeshurun.
Reb Julius was a noted askan and confidante to many gedolei Torah and was involved in numerous mosdos of chinuch, chesed and kiruv, including Lev L’Achim, and served as a trustee at Khal Adas Yeshurun.
The levaya will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Khal Adas Yeshurun, located at 85-93 Bennett Avenue in Manhattan.
Reb Julius is survived by his wife, Clara, and a wonderful family following in his ways. His children are Reb Alfred, Reb Gavriel, Reb Dovid, Reb Ruvain, Reb Binyomin, Reb Michoel, Mrs. Esther Bistricer, Mrs. Ruth Freundlich, Mrs. Yehudis Fried, and Mrs. Naomi Grunhut.
