Rebbetzin Ettil Partzovitz a”h

[Update below.] It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rebbetzin Ettil Partzovitz a”h.

The Rebbetzin, as reported over the past few weeks here on Matzav.com, had been hospitalized at Haddasah Ein Kerem Medical Center in serious condition. She was 81.

Rebbetzin Partzovitz was the wife of Rav Nachum Partzovitz zt”l, renowned rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim, and a daughter of Rav Chaim Shmulevitz zt”l, the legendary Mirrer rosh yeshiva.

The Rebbetzin’s children are Rav Tzvi Partzovitz of Yeshivas Mir- Brachfeld; Rav Refael Partzovitz; Rebbetzin Brodsky, wife of Rav Chaim Mendel Brodsky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Zichron Shmayahu of Toronto; Rebbetzin Hellman, wife of Rav Yitzchok Hellman, maggid shiur at Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim; and Rebbetzin Arieli, wife of Rav Asher Arieli, maggid shiur at Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim.

The levaya is currently being held at Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, to be followed by kevurah on Har Hamenuchos.

Update: At the levaya, which was held in the main bais medrash of Yeshivas Mir, the maspidim, were Rav Aryeh Finkel, Rav Yitzchok Ezrachi, Rav Yisroel Meir Weiss, Rav Tzvi Partzovitz,and Rav Refoel Partzovitz.
