It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rebbetzin Feige Maslow a”h, wife of Rav Shmuel Maslow zt”l for 62 years. She passed away Monday night after a brief illness.
Aishes chaver kevacher. Her husband, “der Horodoker,” was a talmid muvhak and musmach of Rav Aharon Kotler, following him from Slutzk to Kletzk to Vilna to Lakewood, where the Rebbetzin was among the first kollel wives of post-war America.
Rav Shmuel was the first Choizer Shiur for Rav Aharon, a position he held in both Europe and Lakewood.
The Rebbetzin was an aizer kenegdo who encouraged her husband and allowed him to rise as a talmid chochom, be marbitz torah, and help ensure kashrus in America.
Rebbetzin Maslow is survived by two brothers and four children, among them Rav Shabsi Maslow, a well-known maggid shiur for daf yomi for 30 years.
The levaya will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shomrei Hachomos Chapels, lcoated at 4218 Fort Hamilton Parkway, followed by kevura in Eretz Yisroel.
