candle-small5It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rebbetzin Rivkah (Gindoff) Bluth a”h, wife of Rav Elimelech Bluth, rov of Khal Ahavas Achim of Kensington, Brooklyn.

Rebbetzin Bluth had battled illness for a protracted period of time and had been at Palm Gardens Nursing Home in Brooklyn.

The Rebbetzin personified the regal and refined nature of an aim b’Yisroel, always carrying herself with great dignity and modesty, and serving as the consummate eizer kenegdo to her illustrious husband. Her mesirus nefesh for her husband’s kehillah and his harbotzas haTorah, and to her wonderful family as a whole, was remarkable.

The levaya will take place today at noon at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Avenue in Boro Park, Brooklyn.

Rebbetzin Bluth is survived by her husband, Rav Elimelech Bluth; one son, Rav Avrohom A. Bluth; five daughters and eight siblings, as well as many grandchildren.

  1. BD”E but one correction she is survived by 9 siblings not 8. May they all find comfort in wonderful memories of Rivka.
