The first weekend of fall feels more like summer across the tri-state, with some areas setting record highs on Sunday.

Central Park recorded a high of 90 degrees, breaking the old record of 89 set in 1959, according to the National Weather Service.

The temps are expected to gradually lower through the middle of the week but stay above normal, according to Storm Team 4. More typical fall weather may come to the region next weekend. Read more at NBC.
