Congressman Michael Grimm will reportedly plead guilty Tuesday to one count of tax evasion in federal court. Grimm, a Staten Island Republican, won re-election in November despite facing a 20-count indictment focusing on a health-food store that he used to own in Manhattan.
This is not Rep. Grimm’s first brush with the law. He has long been under investigation for campaign-finance irregularities and, in January, he threatened a reporter on live television by saying “I’ll break you in half. Like a boy.” Read more at The New York Daily News.
