liquid-bombTwo U.S. officials tell ABC that al Qaeda could use an “ingenious” new generation of liquid explosive that would turn clothing, when dipped and dried, into a bomb.

One official said the explosive wouldn’t be detected by current security measures. The technique is believed to be the work of Ibrahim al-Asiri, the Yemen-based bomb maker who is suspected of designing the underwear bomb and bombs that are surgically implanted into people’s bodies.

Nearly two dozen U.S. embassies have been closed after the U.S. intercepted messages that indicated an attack. Read more at ABC News.
