After WikiLeaks published a trove of documents this week that detailed the CIA’s alleged hacking operations, CNN reports that a federal criminal inquiry has been opened in coordination with the FBI and the CIA on the matter. The investigation will allegedly look into how the documents, which are evidently genuine, ended up in the hands of the organization.

According to CNN’s report, federal authorities believe they may have been leaked by an employee or contractor working for the agency. It’s unclear if WikiLeaks has any other unpublished documents, but that is part of the coordinated review. Read more at CNN.
