Mitt Romney is expected to endorse Marco Rubio, according to a report from The Huffington Post.
Romney was allegedly interested in endorsing Rubio for a while but was holding out due to respect for Jeb Bush. He may end up endorsing Rubio before the Nevada caucus on Tuesday now that Bush is out of the race.
After the report came out, sources were quick to dismiss the validity of the story. “I’ll refer you to all the other reports saying the Huffington Post report is wrong,” Alex Conant, communications director for Rubio, told The Daily Beast.
