Report: Ultra-Orthodox Jews Make Rare Visit To Gaza
The following report appears in The Washington Post: A small group of ultra-Orthodox Jews were preparing Friday to celebrate the Jewish Sabbath in Gaza, in an unlikely show of support for Palestinians in the Hamas-run coastal territory.
Bearded and wearing black hats and coats, the four members of a tiny Jewish group vehemently opposed to Israel’s existence were a rare sight in the poverty-stricken Palestinian territory.
Members of the Neturei Karta group have expressed support for the Iranian regime and for others who oppose the Jewish state, which they believe was established in violation of Jewish law. They made a similar visit to Gaza last year.
“It’s crucial that the people of Gaza understand the terrible tragedy here is not in the name of Judaism,” said one of the men, Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss of New York City, as the four prepared to observe the Sabbath at a Gaza City hotel.
Gaza is still recovering from Israel’s devastating military offensive a year ago, which was aimed at halting rocket fire from the territory. Thirteen Israelis and almost 1,400 Gazans were killed in the three-week war.
The four men are American and Canadian citizens. Israel bans its citizens from visiting the blockaded territory. Weiss and his comrades entered Gaza through a border crossing with Egypt.
Neturei Karta, Aramaic for “Guardians of the City,” was founded seven decades ago in Jerusalem by Jews who opposed the drive to establish the state of Israel, believing only the Messiah could do that.
Considered marginal even among ultra-Orthodox Jews, the group’s size is estimated at between a few hundred to a few thousand people.

This story is drek and the Post is drek.
They’re ultra something, but “Orthodox” isn’t it.
This has nothing to do with being a Torah Yid and understanding Zionism is kfirah, it has to do with some unstable people going off the deep end.

I would like to ask one thing of all these people bashing the NK!!
Should you have been around:
At the time that Yakov our forefather bowed to Esov, who was out to kill him, and consequently saved his life to save all of Klal Yisrael
Or when rabbi Yochanan played dead to smuggle out to the Romans and thus by saved Reb Gamliel and the city of Yavneh and its torah scholars, and thus by saved the torah and all of Am Yisrael,
Or when Reb Michoel Ber Weissmandel gave money and pleaded to the biggest ratsach Eichmann and thus by saved thousands of Jews,
Would your condemnation be:
1) the same
2) more
3) less
People “START THINKING”

TO # 9- Menachem and others who are anti-zionist: What do you think of Bayis Sheini times? You probably have this fantasy of an era of ZTidkus, etc. Well study histiry, you fool. Because Bayis Sheini was the sight of incredible dishonesty where the kehuna gedola was up for bids, and this is the smalles avala of the times. The GOVERNMENT at those times would make the current medina look like Tzadikim gemurim. Yet nobody would reject Bayis Sheini and that era, as not legitimate. So why the big fuss over today’s medina?

Against Zionism or not - standing together with our enemies who want to kill us is disgusting to say the least. Whoever thinks that Jews standing together with the killers of our people will diffuse tension is living in a dream world. We are in golus and our enemies hate us! Period! You want to make a kiddush Hashem, go help your fellow Jews and act like a mentsch between Jews and goyim alike.

SINFUL INDIVIDUALS.
Look at where Kosher ZEALOTRY has gone….to the mud with chilul hashem and hatred for their Jewish brethren living in Israel.

#20, this is not Kosher zealotry - only a few unbalanced individuals would define these people and their deeds as kosher. There is a concept of kosher zealotry that should not be mocked, but this is not it.
The Satmar Rebbe zt”l’s rejected any form of recognition of the Zionist State and the Brisker Rav zt”l was vehemently opposed as well strong, but neither of them said that the poor Arabs whose land was stolen from them have license to murder Jews and deserve to be supported in their efforts to kill as many Jews as possible in order to get back their land. Or that it is correct to support regimes such as Iran who would love to wipe Israel along witih all her Jewish inhabitants off the face of the earth. These unkosher zealots do not represent the Satmar Rav zt”l or Brisker Rav zt”l’s Jewish zealotry.

These people are rodfim! What right do they have to kill me, my family, and the rest of the 40% of the world’s Jewish population who have decided to wait for the Messiah in Eretz Yisrael? I wish we could exchange them for Gilad Shalit.

The answer to #13 is: niether Yaakov Avinu, nor
Rabbi Yochanan, nor Rabbi Weismandel ever endorsed or made a “show of support” to our enemies. Our Rabbis only dealt with our enemies in a way that would help the Jews, but never showed any compassion, love, support… They only had compassion, love, and support for the Jewish people.
By the way, Rav Amram Blau,zt’l the founder of NK, was never seen parading around with the Arabs and neither was Rav Yoel Teitlebaum zt’l, the previous Satmar Rebbe ever seen with thes bloodthirsty murderers. And the current Satmar Rebbe never went or sent his Chassidim to protest together with the enemies of our Jewish Nation.
I think #13 should “start thinking”

Dear # 28,
what do you call it when a person goes to the general of the enemy’s army, bows before him, calls him king Etc. and does all this before the entire on looking apposing army ?
That’s exactly what Reb Yochanan did, so whatever you call that, the same should be applied to the NK,
If you think that’s “show of support” to our enemies, well there is your precedent.
