Chinese hackers gained access to top-secret military documents that detailed designs of sophisticated weapons, according to The Washington Post.
More than two dozen major weapons-design systems were compromised, including crucial programs for missiles, aircrafts, ships, and missile defense systems.
The Defense Science Board, a senior advisory group made up of government and civilian experts, did not outright accuse the Chinese of stealing the designs, but indicated that the hacking could be part of a larger espionage plot by the Chinese. Read more at The Washington Post.
