mitt-romneyIn the nearly 20 months since Mitt Romney lost the election to President Barack Obama, many of the former Massachusetts governor’s predictions have played out on the world stage.

For instance, Romney called Russia the nation’s “number one geopolitical foe”; he pledged strong support for Israel amid tense relations with Iran and other neighbors; declared that corporations are “people” – and said that illegal immigration remained a continued threat to the American economy.

As many realities have developed in the U.S. and abroad, Romney’s popularity has increased in national polls – and it is believed that he is considering a White House run in 2016.

“Mitt Romney, in retrospect, was not omniscient,” Bradley Blakeman, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, told Newsmax. “He saw what was there to be seen. He saw the world as it was – not the way he wished it would be.

“Obama believed that he could change the world with just his presence on the world stage and with his words. His hope was naïve and impossible,” Blakeman added. “He was running for president, not messiah.

“He never has been able to match his words with deeds. And, today, if it were not for bad news – Obama doesn’t make news.”

  1. This is really a silly article of hypotheticals. Mittens was a little scaredy cat baby and lost! He was so petirified of criticizing Obama because then CNN would call him the dreaded “Racist” word! His speech writers might of had a good message, but he was a broken vessel which couldn’t carry any water on the sea of Presidential politics! Mittens has caused irreparable damage to the Republican Party! He lost twice already so why bother to quote this loser? Might as well interview & quote Dan Quale or Bob Dole. We need a Mike Huckabee or a Ran Paul to get back on track. Enough of these stupid RINO’s!

  2. I would think that Romney might have been ok as a leader, but he did not wear his shoes right. No one wanted to vote for the guy who did not have a hat to smile and did not have an eye to win the smile of time. I regret myself having seen Obama become president and his anti-Israel blame discretion, but really, Obama is a foundation against our mood and not exactly the better shoe of the two it does in fact seem.

Still, Mr. Romney was probably ok to think he could build a better naval fleet perhaps though budget can be limited. And on Russia? Who could really know Mr. Putin. Mr. Romney is not a psychotherapist and he does not seem to be seated with the best hand in life. A fool can speculate as to the gain in the sun, but the world can not be lit on a fuse of disinterest in true authority.

If you ask me, they both were not Hashem’s men and maybe we can just wait to 2016 to see if G-d has a better plan for our leaders.

  3. Romney claimed he only ran B’de’eved

Meaning in other words:he was orchestrated by the billionares so that they could retain control of the the Party.

Winning or losing the actual election was less important (to them) than winning the primaries
