In a letter written to bnei Torah ahead of summer bein hazemanim, gedolei Eretz Yisroel have issued a call to bnei hayeshivos to use their time off for Torah learning.
The roshei yeshivah state that bnei Torah should be sure to set aside time for sedorim and shiurim, and to refrain from exposing themselves to environs that might be harmful to them spiritually during the summer bein hazemanim.
The letter was released by the Vaad Hayeshivos in Eretz Yisroel and signed by Rav Gershon Edelstein, Rav Nissim Karelitz, Rav Dov Landau, and Rav Menachem Ernstern, amongst others.

This is a fantastic idea. It should be applied to Bucherim and Kollel Avreichem, in both Eretz Yisrael and North America.
