Russian Company Names An Ice Cream ‘Poor Jews’

Jews in Russia’s Tatarstan region are objecting to a new ice cream called “Poor Jews.”

The ice cream cone, announced last month by the Slavitsa company in Naberezhnye Chelny, 600 miles east of Moscow, is wrapped in an image of Israel’s flag.

Leonid Shteinberg, a leader of the Jewish community in Naberezhnye Chelny, has called the name “racist” and demanded its production and sale be halted.

  1. If they want to take a lick of Israel, we can provide. Jews daven.

    Small world. Maybe their peanuts can result in their manners crunched down. Russia is never the fit.

    Vodka can be smart too. Maybe we can just buy a bottle and remember “poor russians”. They suffer immortal.

  2. Is the ice cream kosher Cholov yisroel. I guess it’s not because any Jew eating a non kosher ice cream is indeed a poor Jew.
