Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday that he is inviting President Trump to deliver his first State of the Union address on Jan. 30.
“[…] It is my honor to invite you to deliver your State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the House Chamber.”
Trump delivered his first speech before a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28. But it was technically not a State of the Union address because he had been only been sworn in as president a month earlier. Read more at The Hill.
