A Navy petty officer has become the fifth U.S. service member to have died as a result of Thursday’s shooting at the Navy Operational Support Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The Navy confirmed the petty officer’s death on Shabbos morning.
Four Marines—Thomas Sullivan, Squire “Skip” Wells, David Wyatt, and Carson Holmquist—were killed on Thursday and three others wounded. The alleged shooter, 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, was also killed. Read more at CNN.
