The biggest applause came as Sanders declared it was time to get over Clinton’s email scandal.

“The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!” Sanders said, before crowds erupted into cheers and Clinton shook his hand.

“I’ve taken responsibility for it. I did say it was a mistake,” she said.

Earlier in the debate, Clinton ripped into Sanders over his moderate record on gun control, criticizing the Vermont senator for voting against the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act and for backing legislation that protected gun manufacturers over how their products are used. Read more.

  1. We are also tired of her criminal violation of all security and exposing top secret security information to all the enemies of America. She should be arrested already and incriminated for her extreme exposure of highly sensitive internal information about our country that will severely compromise our security and standing in the world.

  2. Hey Bernie, I hate to break it to you. We live in a democratic country where there are laws that have to be adhered to. The FBI is currently investigating what Hillary did or didn’t do with her emails. If at the end of the investigation she is found innocent of any wrongdoing so then it can be put to rest.

  3. #1, there is no evidence of any crime, and no evidence that she deliberately mishandled information that was classified. They found information that was supposed to have been classified and wasn’t, but that was not her responsibility. Colin Powell and Jeb Bush also used unsecure servers for classified information but there is no call to prosecute either of them.

  4. #4, You are obviously a computer novice and have no understanding of the issue of hacking. Additionally, you have no understanding of proper handling of secure information and the level of care and protection required to handle secret information. I worked for a company where classified information was kept in a locked drawer. If someone forgot to lock the drawer, they were subject to possible severe penalties including termination and possible prosecution.

Hillary dealt with the most secret and sensitive information and left it open to any junior hacker. By having it in her private server without severe protective safeguards, she violated the most basic principles of handling and safeguarding this information. Intention to reveal does not matter at all. Simple negligence of the rudimentary basics of mishandling information of the level that she dealt with would have anyone else locked up for life.

  5. That was the fakest moment of the debate! Preplanned the way hilary facial responses were. It was a direct copy of chris christies moment from the republican debate.

  6. “You are obviously a computer novice and have no understanding of the issue of hacking. Additionally, you have no understanding of proper handling of secure information and the level of care and protection required to handle secret information. ”

To the contrary, I had a security clearance for seven years and have been working with computer software for 40. But unlike you, I also know the facts and the law.

  7. She did not use the official secure state department servers for her emails. Edward Snowden who is an expert on hacking and access to secret documents had the following to say.

Edward Snowden blasted Hillary Clinton’s assertion that her State Department emails were secure on a private server, calling the notion “completely ridiculous” in excerpts of an interview with Al Jazeera English published Thursday.

“This is a problem because anyone who has the clearances that the Secretary of State has, or the director of any top level agency has, knows how classified information should be handled,” the former NSA contractor who leaked thousands of classified national-security documents said in an interview with the network’s “UpFront” program.

Snowden continued his blistering criticism of the former secretary of state and current Democratic front-runner, concluding that if a typical employee at the State Department or the Central Intelligence Agency “were sending details about the security of embassies which is alleged to be in her email, meetings with private government officials, foreign government officials and the statements that were made to them in confidence over unclassified email systems, they would not only lose their jobs and lose their clearance, they would very likely face prosecution for it.”

“When the unclassified systems of the United States government, which has a full-time information security staff regularly gets hacked, the idea that someone keeping a private server in the renovated bathroom of a server farm in Colorado, is more secure is completely ridiculous,” Snowden said, referring to the physical location of the server hosted by Denver-based Platte River Networks.

  8. #4 “Charlie Hall October 14, 2015 at 5:03 pm” Fact check: 1) there is no evidence of any crime, and no evidence that she deliberately mishandled information that was classified. False. Using her own private unauthorized email server and storing classified documents on it was a crime. Its usage was quite obviously deliberate. 2) They found information that was supposed to have been classified and wasn’t, but that was not her responsibility. False. “The marking [of information as classified] is not what makes the material classified; it’s the nature of the information itself. As secretary of state, Clinton knew this, and in fact she would have been re-briefed annually on this point as a condition of maintaining her clearance to access classified information.” – Ken Cuccinelli 3) Colin Powell and Jeb Bush also used unsecure servers for classified information but there is no call to prosecute either of them. a) False. Powell used unsecured emails, but never for classified information. b) True, but misleading. Jeb Bush did send classified information via unsecured emails, but comparing the type of classified information a state governor has to that of the SecState is like comparing jaywalking to armed robbery. Furthermore, Jeb’s use of a Hotmail account is far from analogous to Hillary’s elaborate email server setup.
