Santorum on Kasich and Bush Not Voting for Trump: ‘Shame on Them’

2

Today on CNN, former Republican presidential candidate former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) said “Shame on them” to Gov. John Kasish (R-OH) and former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) for not voting for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump after they signed a pledge to do so during the Republican primary, Pam Key reports for BREITBART.

Santorum said, “I’m not happy with John Kasich or Paul Ryan and the way they’re conducting themselves, particularly John Kasich. I want to say to John Kasich, if you’re watching—John, you signed a pledge! You signed a pledge saying you would support the Republican nominee for president. You signed a pledge in order to get on the ballot in South Carolina. You promised that you would follow through with that. And you knew Donald Trump had a chance because he was leading in the polls at the time to be our nominee and you signed it anyway. You can’t say a man who is not going to keep his word is someone, frankly, who should be paid attention to when it comes to how he’s going to vote.”

“John, you are better than that. John was a dear friend in Congress and I know John Kasich is better than that. Jeb Bush, I would say the same thing to you. You signed a pledge. I would say the same thing to other candidates who have not stepped forward and said ‘I’m going to support Donald Trump,’ because you wouldn’t have been on the ballot, you wouldn’t have been able to run for president had you not signed that pledge. And if you’re out there talking about, ‘Well, he has character that’s beneath the dignity of the office,’ what about that character? What about the character—I’m going to tell your kids and grandkids that you signed a pledge, you gave your word to be president of the United States and you backed away from it. Shame on them.” Read more at BREITBART.

  1. Rick Santorum is a first class mensch. I voted for him in 2012. He would of been a great President. It’s too bad that the Romney used all his money to demonize and slander Santorum and then folded against the African American Obama. He was petrified of being called the dreaded “R” word by the corrupt DNC & CNN. Kasich & Bush are exact mirrors of McCain and Romney. They are all stinking worthless RINO’S. It is exactly because of lowlife establishment RINO’S such as Kasich & Bush, that a Trump candidacy was created. They just don’t get it.

  2. Men like Santorum are so wicked that for Mr. Kasich to even consider that Rick Santorum has any authority over his real vote is like looking at the bad hate that is going on today and considering that anything Trump says is the gold that someone has to delve hate first into becoming a terror bigot easily by hard felt fate.

    Forced hate.

Trump is castigation and value focused hate.

Santorum has the right prerogative perhaps. Perhaps he can learn the hard way if the conservative arm of easier futures leaves the party. One might think honor is more important than a bad vote.

Dust off the dust on your shoes when you notice Santorum’s bigoted positions. He is easy timing for antisemitism and hate of progress faith improved work.

You are gripping the hand of a stolen ear of golden hate for the rights of jews.

    It is very stupid.
