rick-santorumRick Santorum says his presidential campaign rival Mitt Romney is “the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama.”

Santorum on Sunday told voters in Wisconsin that Romney is “uniquely disqualified” to be the GOP’s presidential pick and urged his supporters to stand with him even as he faces an increasingly improbable pathway to the nomination. Santorum says “the race isn’t over until the people of Wisconsin sing.”

Santorum says front-runner Romney wrote the blueprint for Democrats’ national health care law and would have a terrible showing in a head-to-head debate on the issue. Santorum says Romney is an inconsistent figure who cannot be trusted and is calling him an “Etch-A-Sketch candidate” whose positions change as easily as pictures on the children’s toy.

  1. Senator Santorum is correct that the Republicans can do better than select the architect for Obamacare as their nominee.Senator Santorum is a consistent full spectrum conservative who can defeat President Obama.

  2. In general, quite a lot of people are extremely tired of and greatly fed up with candidates and politicians who are very weak and muddled and “wishy-washy” on the issues. And when the actual elections come with the weak “moderate” nominees, people are even more cynical about the whole process. For they soon realize that the election is not about the “DEMOCRATS” and the “REPUBLICANS.” Rather, they correctly realize that their (so called) “choice” in the (so called) “elections” is between the “DEMOCANS” and the “REPUBLICRATS”!!

In California, there is a very excellent organization called “SaveCalifornia.com: Campaign For Children and Families.” [(Web site at: http://savecalifornia.com/. (On one of the web site’s pages at http://savecalifornia.com/presidential-election-2012.html, there is a “report card” on the various Republican candidates; according to the infomation there, Romney is very, very weak.)]

The organization’s president is a religious Christian named “Randy Thomasson.” During the 2008 election campaign, I heard a piece of one of his radio interviews. He discussed the common (pragmatic) solution of “Well, we will take the lesser of the two evils.” Sharply denouncing this attitude, he empathetically exclaimed:

“THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS IS STILL EVIL!!”

He then quoted a line from Christian writings about not doing any evil.

(Of course, L’havdil, we well know that, in, L’havdil, our Torah HaKdosha, there are countless statements that strongly exhort us to totally keep away from all evil.)

The radio talk show host “Michael Savage” many times bemoned the phenomenon of liberal Republicans, who completely ignore the values of the strong national and social conservatives. He angrily said to them: “Just because you have an ‘R’ after your name, means that we have to keep voting for you???”

Regarding how they say “Well, we are FISCAL conservatives (conservatives on monetary issues)” he remarked:

“I’m not one of these ‘checker-pants Republicans’ (who state) ‘We Republicans are for smaller government! Tax Cut! Tax Cut! Yeah, Tax Cut!'” To this, he angrily retorted:

“I DON’T GIVE A HOOT ABOUT A TAX CUT!! ALL THAT I CARE ABOUT IS THE SAFETY OF THIS COUNTRY!!!”
