Saudi Arabia has begun building a 600-mile-long “Great Wall” along its northern border with Iraq to keep ISIS out. Construction began in September and the border now features five layers of fencing with watchtowers, night-vision cameras, and radar.
Much of the territory on the Iraqi side of the wall is controlled by ISIS, which has said it aims to eventually capture Saudi Arabia.
A physical barrier along parts of the country’s southern border with Yemen has also been erected. Read more at The Telegraph.
