Fox News host Sean Hannity has ripped into The New York Times for publishing the name of the street and the town where Officer Darren Wilson lives with his bride of one month.

The Times report included a photograph that contained personal information about Wilson and his wife, Barbara, which has subsequently been taken off the paper’s website.

“If anything happens to that man, that family, or his home, the culpability is with them,” Hannity said, Mediaite reported.

And one of his guests added, “Shame on The New York Times,” while pointing out that the report had put Wilson’s life in danger from the same protesters who had been burning down businesses in Ferguson, Missouri.

Wilson has received several death threats since he fatally shot unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, setting off weeks of violent and ongoing protests.

In the Times’ correction, the newspaper said, “An earlier version of this post included a photograph that contained information that should not have been made public. The image has been removed.”

In its initial report, the paper said, “Officer Wilson and [his wife] own a home together on … Mo., a St. Louis suburb about a half-hour drive from Ferguson.”

Matzav.com has redacted the information and will not link to the specific Times’ story with the address to prevent the possibility that it would help someone to track down Wilson and his wife at their home.
