Police continue searching for a thief who stole a Sefer Torah from Cheder Toras Zev in Lakewood, NJ.
The Sefer Torah is said to be worth $70,000.
A reward has been offered for its safe return.
The theft occurred either late on Erev Shabbos or on Shabbos at the Cheder Toras Zev building on Cross Street.
The cheder is led by its founder, Rav Chaim Zev Edelman.
Surveillance video reveals that two people entered the school through an unlocked door and removed a safe containing the Sefer Torah.
