Equipped with riot gear, Ferguson police faced off with several dozen protesters Wednesday, a day after gunfire broke out during a similar demonstration. Police ordered protesters out of the street or face arrest as they marched on West Florissant Avenue, blocking traffic.

Earlier, two businesses near the protest were broken into and police were on the scene. Protesters chanted, “No justice no peace. No racist police” and “We are the revolution, They can’t stop the revolution,” as they marched through the streets.

The night before, fires, looting and gunfire broke out during a similar protest. Three people were shot during the overnight unrest, according to Ferguson Police Department spokesman Jeff Small. Read more at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
