Secret Service Agent Dies On Duty

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump traveled to Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday to pay their respects to the family of a Secret Service agent who died after suffering a stroke while on duty during the president’s trip to Scotland.

Nole Remagen, the Secret Service Special agent, died Tuesday morning. Remagen spent 19 years in the Secret Service where he was “a dedicated professional of the highest order,” according to a statement by the Secret Service.

“Our prayers are with Special Agent Remagen’s loved ones, including his wife and two young children. We grieve with them and with his Secret Service colleagues, who have lost a friend and a brother,” Trump said in a statement. Read more at Bloomberg.

  1. Reportedly, it was right after the group instruction session when they were reminded secret serviceman must be prepared to step in front of POTUS to themselves take any shot intended for Trump.
