Secret Service Agent’s Gun, Badge Stolen

white house securityIn an another embarrassing event for the Secret Service, an agent’s gun, badge, radio, handcuffs, and flash drive were stolen Monday afternoon around 4 p.m. near the White House, CNN reported.

The items were taken from the agent’s personal vehicle while it was parked in downtown Washington, and a report filed with the Metropolitan Police Department described that the agent noticed a back rear window of his car had been “unzipped.”

The report lists among the missing items a black Sig Sauer handgun, an APX6000 radio, handcuffs, a USB flash drive, a black Patagonia bag, and a Secret Service badge. Read more at CNN.
