After the Senate on Wednesday voted unanimously to allow babies in the Senate chamber, Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) brought her newborn to the floor for a vote on Jim Bridenstine’s confirmation as NASA Administrator, the Daily Beast reports.

Before making her way down to the chamber, Duckworth—who became the first senator to give birth while in-office—tweeted Maile Pearl’s planned outfit for her Senate floor debut. “I made sure she has a jacket so she doesn’t violate the Senate floor dress code (which requires blazers),” she wrote. “I’m not sure what the policy is on duckling onesies, but I think we’re ready.” On her way down to the vote, she told reporters, “About time, huh? She’s pretty young to be making history.” When asked how she felt after the vote, Duckworth said, “It’s amazing, and it’s about time.”
