capitol-congressBy a vote of 90-1, the U.S. Senate over the weekend approved a resolution that reaffirms U.S. efforts to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon and says containment of a nuclear-capable Iran is not an option.

The measure was introduced months ago by Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Bob Casey, D-Pa., and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., cast the only “no” vote.
