Senator Slams Dr. Oz ‘Miracle’ Products


dr-ozToday, Dr. Mehmet Oz found himself being bashed by Senator Claire McCaskill for hawking “miracle” weight-loss products that don’t have scientific backing. “I don’t get why you need to say this stuff because you know it’s not true,” the Democrat from Missouri told Oz during a Senate panel about businesses selling fake Oz-approved products. “The scientific community is almost monolithically against you in terms of the efficacy of the three products you called ‘miracles.'”

Oz replied that he hopes viewers lean toward healthier choices. “When I can’t use language that is flowery, that is exulting, I feel like I’ve been disenfranchised,” he said. Read more at The Hill.

  1. If they, the panels, would question, the IRS, NSA, Bengasi, VA, etc., like they questioned Dr. OZ we would have found out what we had to find out about all those scandals. But Dr. OZ is not politically attached to the White House so it is easy to ask him specific questions and hound him.
