The Seret-Vizhnitzer Rebbe was taken today to Rothschild Medical Center today after feeling unwell, following the recommendation of his personal doctor.
Doctors at the hospital, located not far from his home in Chaifa’s Ramat Vizhnitz, are running tests to determine the source of pain the Rebbe has been experiencing. Further details will be known later today. A regimen of medication will likely be applied to address the elderly admor‘s ill health.
The Rebbe is approximately 90 years old.
The Rebbe, Rav Eliezer Hager, is a first cousin of the Vizhnitzer Rebbes of Bnei Brak and Monsey. He is the older of two sons of Rav Boruch Hager, the Mekor Boruch, who was a son of the Ahavas Yisroel of Vizhnitz.
All are asked to daven for Rav Eliezer ben Tzirel.
