Torah Jews rejoice.
Moshe Gafni, MK with Yahadut Hatorah, declared today, Erev Shabbos, that his party will form a chareidi bloc with the Shas party. The new partnership will have a total of 18 seats, 11 from Shas and 7 from UTJ.
Gafni remarked, “We’ll not rule out other parties, but our principles are clear.”

nice try – if shas stays out its voters, mostly non-chareidi, will kick them out in the next election. the UTJ will be left out in the cold when shas compromises. don’t believe the posturing.
This was expected. Let’s hope it will be with Hatzlacha.
Eh, we hear that every few months
Pardon,
#3 was for #1
What does it mean that they formed a bloc? What does that do exactly? and how likely is it to last?
