rav-elyashiv2Yerushalayim – Klal Yisroel continues to daven for davening for Rav Yosef Shalom ben Chaya Musha, as the posek hador remains hospitalized at Shaarei Tzedek Hospital. Over Shabbos, however, some slight improvement was seen in Rav Elyashiv’s condition, according to his attending physicians.

“Critical, but stable,” is the way doctors have described his condition.

Dozens of grandchildren of Rav Elyashiv were in and around the hospital this Shabbos, davening and saying Tehillim for his recovery. They stress that he is still in need of great rachamei Shomayim.

Doctors are preparing to perform much needed medical intervention tomorrow.

Large crowds of onlookers arrived at the hospital over the weekend, curious about the posek hador’s condition. The hospital has once again asked the public to stay away, as uninvited visitors have been causing disturbances at the medical center and have made the situation difficult for the doctors and nurses.

Around the world, tefillos were said in shuls and yeshivos for Rav Elyashiv, as Yidden are storming the heavens to grant the centenarian gadol hador a complete recovery.

All are asked to continue davening for Rav Yosef Shalom ben Chaya Musha.
