Fugitive whistleblower Edward Snowden looks to be covering his bases: he asked for a meeting with human rights groups before he departs Moscow to Venezuela, where he has been granted asylum.
Snowden requested a meeting with Transparency International, a global corruption watchdog, at the Moscow airport, and has also invited the U.N., Amnesty International, and Human Rights Watch. He reportedly plans to make a statement after the meeting, which the airport confirmed is supposed to take place Friday evening local time. Read more at USA Today.
