Springfield/Plainfield Yeshiva Dinner Tonight

Tonight, the Building Inaugural Dinner of Yeshiva Gedolah Tiferes Boruch of Springfield, located in North Plainfield, NJ, will take place at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel, located at 128 Frontage Road in Newark, NJ. The Guests of Honor are rabbi and Mrs. Mordechai Kaplovitz. Dr. and Mrs. Reuven Glassman are the Parents of the Year awardees. Rabbi and Mrs. Yaakov Weiss are the Alumnus of the Year/Kesser Shem Torah awardees.

Harav Eliyahu Meir Sorotzkin shlita is the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Tiferes Boruch of North Plainfield.  The yeshiva is named for his father, Harav Refoel Boruch Sorotzkin zt”l, the Telsher Rosh Yeshiva. Rav Eliyahu Meir is a son-in-law of Harav Shmuel Berenbaum zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of the Mirrer Yeshiva.

The yeshiva was located in Springfield for 16 years, before the yeshiva relocated this past year to North Plainfield. The yeshiva is located at 21 Rockview Avenue in the Washington Park Historic District in North Plainfield.
