Email is still cheaper.
The cost of a first-class postage stamp went up today to 49 cents, 3 cents more than before. While 3 cents isn’t a lot of money, the increase is the largest in consumer postage prices in over ten years.
While the increase was approved over a month ago, it didn’t go into effect until today.
Forever stamps are still good for first-class postage at whatever rate.

Thanx. Definitely worth the price increase. They do such a wonderful job.
Still only about 1/40th the cost of getting FedEx or UPS to get your document across the country in two days.
Progress or just another penny on the camera of time.
