Secretary John Kerry passed up the opportunity this week to recognize one of the most important holidays on the Jewish calendar, Rosh Hashanah. In recent weeks, however, the Weekly Standard reports, Kerry took time to recognize the Independence/National Days of Guatemala, Papua New Guinea, and Andorra, among others.
Kerry also issued a statement regarding the crane accident at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and even recognized the Sammarinese people on September 3rd as they celebrated the Feast of San Marino and the Republic.
But Rosh Hashanah? The Yom Hadin? Kerry didn’t have time for that.

I would have been upset had Treasury Secretary Jack Lew ignored Rosh Hashanah, but not Kerry.
Of all the legitimate issues we have about how this administration treats Israel, focusing on this non-issue makes us look like we’re looking to complain.
