State Legislature Moves NY Primary Day Off Of 9/11

The state Legislature has passed a bill to change the date of this year’s party primaries for state offices from Sept. 11 to Sept. 13.

Gov. Cuomo is expected to sign the change into law.

Sept. 11, in addition to being the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks, conflicts with  of Rosh Hashanah. Read more at NY POST.
