Britain’s largest bookstore chain apologized this week for promoting the genocidal Nazi fuhrer’s book “Mein Kampf” as the “perfect present” for the holidays.

The Jewish Chronicle reported Waterstone Booksellers had several branches prominently displaying the book, and one using a sticker urging its purchase as a potential stocking stuffer.

The company issued its mea culpa after a Jewish businessman complained about spotting “Mein Kampf” promotions in four different Waterstone stores, the Chronicle reported.

“We … apologize for the offense caused,” the company said in a statement. “We will also communicate with all our branches at the earliest possible opportunity to remind them of the sensitivities surrounding our stocking of ‘Mein Kampf.'”
