A student at Stanford University who threatened to “physically fight” against “Zionist students” following Israel’s passing of legislation making Israel the “nation-state of the Jewish people” announced that he would resign his post as a residential assistant.

In a Facebook post last month, Hamzeh Daoud, 20, wrote, “I’m gonna physically fight Zionists on campus next year if someone comes at me with their ‘Israel is a democracy’ (garbage). (…) I’ll go ahead and work every day for the rest of my life to abolish your (…) ethno-supremacist, settler-colonial state.”

Daoud later amended the post to say “intellectually fight,” and added, “I edited this post because I realize intellectually beating Zionists is the only way to go. Physical fighting is never an answer to when trying to prove people wrong.”

Explaining that he suffered from “trans-generational trauma” Daoud, a “third-generation Palestinian refugee,” says he is entering trauma-based therapy to recover.

“I acknowledge the language in my first post had a strong negative effect on many in our Stanford community. I apologize from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was triggered by it. I recognize that I was projecting my own trauma onto others in a way that is never acceptable,” he wrote in his statement.

  1. I love this story. Guy wants to punch the living day lights out of man who is jewish while he has the living dead lights of his own manner of hate.

Willing to bet that Stanford got its best admission. A man of foreign generational build here to show us his smart smart smarts.

This is very classy. He has a good idea. Blame a psychological war effort to dispense a warrior mentality to men and women of his open dire palestinian faith in manners of hate.

Guess it works. Let the psychologist psychiatric team beam in. We like it.

And if we have more problems. Maybe 1948 can be a start.

    Thanks.

  2. He wants to appologize to anyone who was “triggered” by his words? When you threaten someone based on their beliefs, with bodily harm- you are not “triggering” them…you are committing a crime! Idiot.

  3. Israel IS a nation-state of the JEWISH PEOPLE whether you like it or not.
However, the Arab student is right. Israel is not a democracy and never was. Best proof of this is their self-appointed judges for life who mix into everything and everyone, whether it’s politics, economics or whatever, and run the country and make up rules that suits ‘them’ without ever having been elected!

By the way, there’s no such thing as “third-generation Palestinian refugee” being on welfare for the next 20 generations??? Should 3rd and 4th generation Jews continue getting reparations from Germany to cover civilian damage caused during the war? About time Arabs go to work and make a decent living.
