Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, fell in her office at the court and fractured three ribs, according to a release from the court Thursday.

“Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment,” the statement said.

Ginsburg’s health has been a matter of intense speculation in recent years. Ginsburg, the court’s oldest member, is one of the court’s four liberal justices. The Brooklyn-native has said that she plans to serve on the court until she is 90, and has hired law clerks through 2020.

  1. She should have a רפואה שלמה and many more years of health, in her well earned retirement, while the President should nominate someone worthy to take her seat.

  2. At least when she finally kicks the bucket, the President with help of his Republican majority in the Senate, can put in a Conservative to replace her, and there is nothing Jerrold Nadler or Dianne Feinstein can do to stop it. Na na na na na.

    • What a disgusting thing to say about another person, and to think you said it about another yid!

You don’t have to agree with someone’s politics to wish them well. Refuah Shleima!

      • Her policies are disgusting and she is a leading member of the spiritual destruction of America at the moment. (2 major examples being abortion and toiva marriage)

  3. She was one of those that stated that they would leave the USA if Trump was elected.
She hasn’t kept her word. So, whereas the hospital is not “out of the USA”, if it keeps her bedridden, it will suffice in the interim – till she moves.

  4. To think Trump may have a third appointment excites some today. Sure.

But its medicine right now. A dangerous liberal judge is in physical pain. She is a citizen. Israel must wish her a refuah shlemiah. The court turns are not gainful to discuss.

    Fear G-d. She may recover.

  5. The Notorious RBG, as Mrs. Ginsburg dubbed herself, needs a refuah sheleimah – a big refuas hanefesh, as well as a refuas haguf.

Part of the refuas hanefesh should be an intense period of introspection and charatah, followed by teshuvah as possible. In order to work on that great task, she needs free time. which she will hopefully get very soon after leaving her job.
