Swiss Could Offer Home to Snowden

Will Edward Snowden be eating chocolate on the banks of Lake Geneva? Switzerland has offered the NSA leaker safe entry into the country if he assists in a criminal inquiry regarding American spying.

According to a leaked document, “Edward Snowden could be assured of free movement by the federal prosecutor if he cooperated with a criminal investigation.”

The Swiss public prosecutor’s office said he would probably not be extradited to the United States if they asked, but also would not likely be granted political asylum. Read more at Reuters.
