Syria Builds Park for N. Korean Dictator

With friends like these who needs the rest of the world? Syria will be building a park in Damascus dedicated to North Korea’s founding father, Kim Ill Sung.

The move signified “profound reverence for President Kim Il Sung who provided a firm foundation for friendship between the two countries with Hafez Al-Assad, former president of Syria, and extended material aid and moral support to the just cause of the Syrian people,” according to KCNA, the North Korean state news agency. Read more at KCNA.
