Tefillos for Rav Matisyahu Salomon

All are asked to say Tehillim for Rav Matisyahu Salomon, mashgiach of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ, who was taken to the hospital today shortly after the conclusion of the levayah of Rebbetzin Rishel Kotler a”h at Beth Medrash Govoha. Rav Salomon did not attend the levayah due to his weakened condition.

Rav Salomon served for 30 years as mashgiach ruchani and senior mashgiach of Gateshead Yeshiva, which was initially led by Rav Moshe Schwab. In 1998, Rav Salomon moved to Lakewood and assumed the position of mashgiach at America’s largest yeshiva, Beth Medrash Govoha.

The mashgiach and his wife, Rebbetzin Miriam, have been supremely devoted to the larger American Olam Hatorah since their arrival on these shores some 17 years ago, making themselves available to one and all for guidance and chizuk.

Rav Salomon was taken from his home on Sixth Street, between Private Way and Lakewood Avenue, to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus on River Avenue in Lakewood.

May the mashgiach have a refuah sheleimah.

The name for Tehillim is Matisyahu Chaim ben Ettil.
