Rav Meir Halevi Soloveitchik, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Brisk in the Zichron Moshe neighborhood of Yerushalayim and son of the Brisker Rov, Rav Yitzchok Zev Soloveitchik zt”l, was taken to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Yerushalayim this morning in an unconscious state.
Paramedics were summoned to Rav Soloveitchik’s home in Rechov Chazanovitz in Yerushalayim and transported him to the intensive care unit at the hospital.
Rav Soloveitchik apparently suffered a stroke.
Tefillos for Rav Soloveitchik are being said in yeshivas across the globe, as well as at his father’s kever on Har Hamenuchos in Yerushalayim.
All are asked to daven for a refuah sheleimah for Rav Meir ben Hendel.
