Update below: All are asked to continue saying Tehillim for Rav Yisroel Belsky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and one of the senior poskim of our dor, who is hospitalized at Maimonides Medical Center in Boro Park. We have just learned that a name, Chaim, has been added to the rosh yeshiva‘s name. His name for Tehillim is now Rav Chaim Yisroel ben Chana Tzirel.
The situation remains serious and the rosh yeshiva needs rachamei Shomayim.
Above all, the family and talmidim of Rav Belsky are asking all of Klal Yisroel to daven and say Tehillim, in the hope that by storming the heavens, we can merit to witness a refuah sheleimah for the rosh yeshiva.
The greater Olam Hatorah has remained concerned regarding the rosh yeshiva since he was hospitalized on Motzoei Shabbos Parshas Yisro and was subsequently treated for a torn esophagus and a collapsed lung, having undergone various procedures. Yesterday, the rosh yeshiva‘s condition fluctuated as physicians prescribed medication to address an infection.
An asifa will be held tonight at Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin of Avenue L in Flatbush, Brooklyn, as a zechus for Rav Belsky. Maariv will take place at 9:30 p.m, followed by divrei hisorerus from Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff, rov of the shul, and Rav Yisroel Reisman, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas. Tehillim will then be recited.
All are asked to continue davening for a swift and complete refuah.
Update: Call in tonight at 10:45 for a special Tehillim Teleconference through the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation as a zechus for Rav Belsky. The dial-in number is 718-258-2008. Press menu option 9 selection 1.

Any update on Reb Elyashiv?
everyone should so something extra, and extra mishna learning or mitzvah, for the next few days as a merrit for Rav Belsky
Maybe “Ahavas Chinom” instead of its
alternative would also be a zechus in these
times of tribulation.
We must do Torah and Chesed. That is what the Rosh Yeshiva did and I’yh will continue to do.
