While many municipalities and states vote on whether to take down Confederate flags from public property, Tennessee’s Greene County voted Monday on a resolution to raise the rebel flag at the local courthouse.
Despite a heated debate, the county’s commissioners voted 20 to 1 against raising the flag, leaving the bill’s sponsor, Commissioner James Randolph, as the lone vote in favor. Read more at WBIR.
